twins
One of our cows had twins a couple days ago.She had them way out in the pasture and I didn't want them that far from home so I waited for Paula to get home and we got them. One wasn't moving too good so I tossed it on the back of the pickup. I pushed the cow and other calf toward home. We were almost there and I saw Paula had stopped and had the calf on the ground. Iwent back and carried him the rest of the way. Talk about dead weight. We made it though. Today I decided we'd have to bottle feed the smaller calf. Mom just didn't recognize it as hers. Guess she never heard of twins. I drove the pickup out and put the calf in. When I went to get in Claire was tight against the drivers side door. She's never been good at sharing. Even worse the calf climbed onto the seat, and then rode nice. We put the calf in the barn and got some milk. Buzzie went nuts barking. He wouldn't leave so the rest of us went in and eventually he came to the house. Tonight I waited for Paula to feed. When we done Buzzie was barking again. I told Paula I was going in to take a bath and she could catch Buzz. It took them a long time to come in. She couldn't catch Buzz because he went back and forth under the fence, always barking though.
