horses
We got the horses out yesterday. They hadn't been ridden for awhile. Siete hadn't been out since it rained and Leilani quire a bit longer. The weather wasn't that great but it's that time of year. Siete didn't want to stand for me to get on so I set her parking brake and got on. She was anxious to go so I just let her. She's had a few issues with going and I didn't want to get in her way. We had to ride on the road since the fields are still muddy. We went through the ditch and came out in a trot like always but this time she kept on going. I just let her go since I didn't mind. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Paula trying to stop Leilani with the reins. I yelled bend her and we were gone. Eventually Siete stopped. She figured out it was less work walking rather than trotting. After awhile I saw Paula and Leilani again. She sad Leilani bent very well. She also said Leilani threw her head once but they rode through it. That's a big deal for Paula because head throwing always bothered her.
