gas

Last Saturday was driving by checking the cows and saw one of Beaver Grains anhydrous tanks sitting in the pasture. I didn't think much of it, sometimes they have a bad tire or something else goes wrong so they park it and come back later. Monday morning I was a little late going by, I went to get a bearing first. When I got there the tank was gone and the gate was open. That got me quickly looking for the cows. It seemed like they were all there but I had trouble getting the electric fence to work. I was going to go home and get stuff to fix it but as I was leaving Dave stopped. He asked if I had seen the tank. His first thought was that it was stolen. He said when he saw it he called Beaver and asked then if I had gotten a tank. Since I hadn't Terry came out and looked. He said he had just inventoried the tank. They called the sheriff but they wouldn't come out. Dave was pretty obsessed with who was making meth and how awful it was to have those people around us. It was an empty tank and they take the hoses off of them so I'm not sure how they could make it work. Dave spent a lot of time trying to figure out the timeline of when the tank was taken and who might have done it. Whoever did it didn't even bother to hide it. Also, whoever took it opened the gate and closed it when they left. After Beaver got the tank they forgot to close the gate. Dave said I needed to go over there and tell them they forgot the gate. I'm thinking, to myself, nothing got out and I've had about enough guessing and speculation. So I went home and came back and fixed the electric fence.
