yesterday

I took Claire to her doctor. She cut her foot and it wasn't healing very fast. We looked at it. It was healing some and infected some. So we got an antibiotic. Her doctor told her she was healing but we were going to help it along. We picked up a couple bales on the way home. I was unloading them by the horses and saw Claire staring out the window. I looked and saw 3 deer running between the grower and finisher. I've been practicing loping on Cassy and got her out. For those of you who thing her trot is rough her lope is worse. Just as rough but faster. We headed out and I thought just Lucy would go. I looked back and here comes Claire and Buzzie. We almost got to the blacktop and I thought I'd better go back. Lucy chased a rabbit under the oil tanks. Lucy and Claire left immediately because they knew they couldn't get the rabbit. Not Buzz. He wouldn't leave. I was screaming at him to come and Claire and Lucy sat beside me waiting.He finally came but got stuck on a piece of barbed wire. Now I was really screaming. He cried a little and then sat and waited for me. I had to get off Cass to get him loose. He had his tail wrapped around the wire and was really stuck.I got him loose and we went home. He's still oily.
