Fergie had a sore under her chin that just wouldn't go away. Finally in Monday we took her to Wichita to see Dr John. He took an x-ray to make sure she didn't have any tooth root damage. He cleaned off the owie and started poking in it. There was a little hole and he stuck a tube in it and squirted some peroxide in it. Then he took a tool and started working around inside. He got some stuff out including a dark thing which he said was probably a piece of the stick that started all this. Then he squirted some more peroxide in. This time a whole bunch of pus came out. He gave me the tube and said to keep squirting peroxide in until the hole closed. They didn't think Ferg would stand so I borrowed Tami's twitch but so far she's been really good and we haven't used it. I think part of it is that Ferg was down west all summer. She is starved for human companionship and will do anything for us. It's really cute.
