Went to Wichita yesterday to take Cass to the doctor. Her knee was a little swollen and I thought maybe we'd better find out before it got worse. Dr. John took several x-rays, $45 per x-ray for a horse. She had some bone chips and a little arthritis. He asked me if I rode her a lot. We don't so he said a joint supplement would be all she needed but don't ride her too hard. Way better than surgery. While I was there I asked him about Leilani's itchies. I told him what I already did. He said it was bugs that were bothering her and there is some stuff called MTG that I could rub on her. We used that on Fergie when she lost her tail so maybe it will work on Leilani.
