`feet

Did horse feet yesterday. It went well. I'm very impressed with Siete and her standing. So Is Nick the farrier. The tree of learning tree has been very helpful for her. We put shoes on Leilani's front feet. She's been stepping a little funny and I thought that might help. Nick showed me how she walked and how she put her foot down. He said it's not as flexible and probably never would be. But he thought if I didn't push her too hard she'd be ok. His idea of pushing would be riding her 8 hours a day or roping cows on her. I think that will be possible. He also thought it would be ok to rope calves on her. Leilani mat have an easier life than Nick's horses. He brought a kid type horse. He stopped at Wendy's and did her horse first. She had a student that wanted a starter horse and she took the horse. Nick brought his wife's horse with him so he could ride with the kid. He said his horse bucked when he started but it always did until it got warmed up.
