Leilani's foot still bothers her so we took her to Wichita today. Kind of was a mixed day. Took x-rays to see what was inside. The tendon that was supposed to be cut may have been injured but the big problem was a broken bone. The x-ray showed lots of bone like growth that shouldn't have been there. It also explained why she was still sore. That means that ever since I started riding her she's been hurting. I find it incredible that she did everything that I asked and actually wanted to be chosen when I got a horse. Dr. Brooks said that's what makes a horse so amazing is that want to please so bad. It doesn't make me feel much better since I was the one riding her. I've got a series of shots that he said could make her a lot better. I hope so.
