I've decided Elena is smarter than me. When I'm catching her she knows exactly how much ground I can cover. If she can't get by she doesn't even try and catches easily. On my side I see the distance. Even though never in my life could I ever get over quick enough something in my brain says maybe suddenly I'm faster than ever before. Since I'm not faster it never works.
