When I went to bed Sunday I realized Sue wasn't there. I couldn't remember seeing her all day so I woke Paula up. I looked all over the house. When I went downstairs I heard a cat in the furnace. At first I thought she was in the pipes but she was in the actual furnace. At least it's an old furnace with lots of room. At the sale a sheriff's officer walked through. My first thought was Leilani and i had been speeding. Somebody over by Lucas had gone nuts and was running around with an M-14.The KBI, sheriff and police and a helicopter were looking for him. Also one of the women told me her daughter had gotten a notice in the mail her husband was leaving her. One of the guys house burned down. Another fell on the ice and dislocated his collarbone. At Ellsworth they couldn't get it back in so they sent him to Salina.

It's raining a lot this evening. We got out of the sale just in time. When we got home it was starting to mist so we threw Tami's horses in as fast as possible and she left. By the time I got done feeding it was getting wet. The horses were all acting fair. They had happy feet and lack of attention. That's what happens when its too cold to do much riding. Leilani did alright but she made me work.
