traveling

Buzzie went to the sale this week. We had him and Claire and Angel so there was quite a load. Well actually not since Buzzie doesn't take much room. He played in the parking lot before the sale and stayed in the pickup with the other dogs. We took him into the office after the sale. He was afraid of Levi. Levi is only 2 weeks older and about the same size. But Buzzie didn't know him so he was afraid of him. It turned out ok because there were so many women in the office he had lots of people to hold him. When we were ready to go we had to pry him loose. he slept on both of us going home.

sales

They had 2 sales this week. Mondays was big. Leilani had a good day. She was all over everything. Tuesdays was at night. Neither Leilani nor I were at our best. She was thinking the same as I was, shouldn't we be in bed? The lights are terrible so it was hard to find gates and there were shadows all over. We went past one spot about 10 times before Leilani didn't slow down. I don't know what she thought it was but a horse that stops on its own will really throw you forward. All of Tami's horses have the flu so we took all 4 of ours. It was 11:30 before we got the horses put up.

riding

Yesterday Tami came out and we went riding. We drove up to the lake and took off down a dirt road. Tami led us through the ditch, up a hill and then way up. I entertained myself by warning Leilani about the pebbles on the dirt. We went through some mud and trees and to get back to flat ground we went through some weeds taller than the horses. It didn't bother Leilani much although I think she likes to see where she's going. This morning we had a little dampness. Buzzie got totally soaked.
His legs looked like 2 black sticks and his body was all shriveled. Tonight he's cleaned up pretty well.

cats

Saw 2 new cats today. One was black and white the other was dark and white kind of like a dark Madeline. The dogs saw them and didn't seem surprised. They may have been here before. We had the dogs and were walking over a cattle guard. Buzzie went around and I'm thinking what a smart dog. I went back for something and he ran right out in the middle and dropped through. He conked his nose on a pipe and was a little stunned but then walked to the side and climber up and out.

time

Buzzie hasn't made the time switch yet. He's waking up early. This morning he was chewing on my chin. Sue didn't like that so she was swatting him. I could sort of see Lucy who was staring at Sue. When Sue didn't stop Lucy chased her off the bed. Don't mess with Lucy's friends. I took Buzzie and Claire with me to the bank. They both got dog biscuits. Claire ate hers right down. Buzzie tore right into his but I had to find a parking place so we could run down the pieces he had scattered. Buzzie is a good rider. He just rolls up and goes to sleep.
