catching cows

Saturday Tami brought Fergie out and I took Leilani and we went down west to catch cows. The first pasture was mostly cows and I had given them some alfalfa so they were sort of trained. They went in easily. We moved the panels over to the heifers and they weren't trained at all. We had to circle the pasture a couple of times and there's a lot out there. We were crashing through brush and splashing through water. It wasn't even that hard to get the heifers in. Once they realized that going through water and brush wasn't working they just gave up. Paula hauled them home and we rode home.
