long day

This afternoon we got Buzzie and

Today we got Buzzie and
Claire and took Tami 2 bales. She was leaving when we drove in and of course had to play with Buzzie. Then we went to the rest home to see grandma. All the help wanted to play with Buzzie It took forever to get back to grandma but when we did he played back there. Then we went to watch Tami barrel race. It was really windy but Buzzie is so low to the ground I'm not sure how much it bothered. Both Claire and Buzzie got played with there. Tami won the race. When we got home Buzzie went to sleep but Ray called with trouble with the shed door so we took all 3 dogs. Buzzie should sleep very well tonight.

back on

Finally got back on the Internet. It was just a plug in. Of course we didn't have one. Elena is getting better. Last week we took Hero and Elena back to look at their lungs and get samples. The samples came back negative so now we're waiting for 3 more weeks before they can be ridden. Paula has been in Wichita the last few days. Buzzie and I need her badly. I've been out in the fields all day and when I come in Buzzie is a mess.He is just so excited and attacks everything. I would mostly just like to hold him and he mostly wants to play. I don't mind giving him attention I just don't want bit. Neither do the other dogs and cats.

wet

It really rained Monday. At one point I was totally soaked. The good thing, I guess, was the sale lasted long enough I got dried out. After the sale Stanley came looking for us. He had puppies he wanted to get rid of. Tami said next week. Stanley said no it has to be now. He offered to take us to them so we did,. It was about 20 minutes somewhere. We drove on the yard Stanley said let me get the girls. He went to the house opened the door and 3 teacup poodles came screaming out. He had greyhounds all over the place and 3 running around the yard. The pups were in a stock trailer. There were 4 that he got out and they hit the ground like splattered grease. The pups kept trying to play with the greyhounds but the greyhounds were so big they would squeak the pups. Stanley would yell at the big dogs but immediately a pup would run back at one. Tami just can't have another dog so I ended up getting one. We'd still be there if I hadn't. Stanley is very persistent. The dogs are a cross, Bichon and Shih-Tzu. According to the Internet this is a common cross. So far nobody has come up with a good name. If they don't I'll name him myself.

back home

Brought Elena and Hero home today. Both were doing great and both were very ready to go home. They were in stalls which they didn't like and of course they didn't like being at the doctors office. They're not supposed to do anything for 2 weeks to let their lungs heal and then he wants to see them again. Even though I could never find this place on my own I'm closer than before. I watched the other horses closely when I got home to make sure nobody chased Elena. Rory gets along with everybody. While I watched he decided he had an itch and started scratching vigorously. He lost his balance and almost fell down. What saved him was he crashed into Diego which kept him upright. Rory acted like nothing happened. The vet is now calling Elena an Appaloosa. I guess I thought of her as a quarter horse.

pictures

I just got done putting a ton of pictures into Picasa and then onto the web. Most of these are older pictures that I had more or less forgotten about. If you want to see them and forgot how to get into them or never knew let me know.
