feeding cows

I was feeding cows this morning and could see the kids tearing around the pasture. They had their tails high and were really moving. I also think they were chasing cows. They'd run up to some and get them running and then run on by them. Great fun. The cows saw me putting out the bale and came over. The horses were all the way on the other side of the pasture by now. I drove out the gate and looked back. The horses were standing there right at the gate looking at me and they had scattered the cows all over. Stripe walked out over the wire but the other 2 stayed. I got some alfalfa as fast as I could. While the horses ate I push/pulled Stripe back in. I put the gate back and that was that.
